Conveyor Belts

 

PVC Black

Vaughn Belting Company, Inc. has available PVC conveyor belting in many types and thicknesses.  This belting material is used in many conveying and elevator applications, and is available in black, and white food grade. PVC belting is oil, chemical, and stretch resistant.  For more information on White PVC see Food Handling.

  • C x FS cover by friction surface also known as cover-one-side (COS)

  • C x C cover by cover - also called cover both sides (CBS)

  • FS x FS friction surface by friction surface

  • RT x FS rough top by friction surface

  • CT x FS crescent top by friction surface

PVC 100 Rough Top

Rough textured, non-skid surface enables packages, boxes, and other products to be conveyed on incline or decline. The brush bottom surface is for low coefficient of friction.

 

PVC 120 Black

Has proven to be the longest wearing, best performing, most problem free package handling belt available today. Economical, general purpose specification is ideal for a variety of roller bed, slider bed, and live roller applications. Offers low stretch, high fasteners - holding ability and superior rip, tear and gouge resistance.

 

Styles include:

C x C - cover both sides
C x FS - cover one side
FS x FS - friction surface by friction surface

 

PVC 150 Black

Has proven to be the longest-wearing, best-performing, most problem-free package handling belt available today. Economical, general purpose specification is ideal for a variety of roller bed, slider bed, and live roller applications. Food Handling

PVC belting is the most common elevator belting available in the feed and grain industry. These belts feature low stretch, trouble free operation, high bolt holding ability and are resistant to whole grain oils, fire, moisture, mildew, and rot.

PVC350 C x C - cover both sides
PVC450 C x C - cover both sides

 

Poly White Nitrile COS

Very popular, high value, most generally used food belt available. High-strength polyester carcass has great , dimensional stability, meaning less stretch, better tracking, elimination of rot, mildew, and deterioration.  FDA and USDA approved.

 

Styles available include:              

2ply Poly 60 (5/16” thick)
3ply Poly 90 (3/32” thick)

 

15oz. White Nitrile COS

Available in 2,3,4 and 5 ply.  General purpose food handling, assembly line and package belt.  Grease proof and can be hot water and steam cleaned.  Resistant to food acids, fats and alkalines.  FDA and USDA approved.

 

3ply Poly White 150 RMV COS

Super oil resistant PVC covers provide excellent animal and vegetable oil resistance at an economical price. Cleats can be welded to belt surface. FDA and USDA approved

 

3ply Poly White Butyl COS

A specification designed for extreme temperature applications from -65 F to 300 F.  Recommended for hi-temperature uses such as heat sealing machines and heat (shrink) tunnels.  Can also be used for cold rooms and freezers. FDA and USDA approved

 

Poly White Teflon COS

Excellent for wet, sticky materials and operations involving gluing, coating, and spreading. FDA and USDA approved. 

 

Styles available include:              

2ply 60 (3/64” thick)
3ply 90 (1/16” thick)

 

3ply 135 White Nitrile CXC

Same basic construction as 3 ply Poly 135 White Nitrile COS, but with a full bottom cover. This cover provides extra wear resistance on roller conveyors. NOT for use on slider beds. FDA and USDA approved.

 

White Nitrile Pebble Top (Tyler Wire)

This belt with the “ripple top”, features a textured pattern known as Tyler Wire impression and  is capable of high traction on moderate inclines. Suitable for conveying produce, bakery goods, packages, and small parts. Oil and grease resistant and non-marking. FDA and USDA approved.

2ply 15oz.
3ply poly 90

 

Poly White Nitrile Meat Cleat

This ribbed mini-cleat belt is ideal for incline conveying in package and food processing plants.  All surface planes are smooth and easily cleaned. Inverted V-shaped cleats are 1/8” high and are spaced on 1” centers. FDA and USDA approved.

3ply Poly 135

 

High Temp

Hi-Temp TFE glass belts have exceptional non-stick properties. They also have dimensional stability, thermal and chemical resistance, and controlled permeability. 

 

Applications for TFE glass belts include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Conveyor belts for baking and food

  • Fuse pressing belts used in the apparel industry

  • Belts for carpet and tile manufacturing

  • Heat sealing belts for packaging equipment

  • Textile and screen printing belts

 

Thermoplastic Conveyor Belting

Commonly referred to as European Style or Monofilament belting.  Thermoplastic Conveyor Belting is recognized as the next generation in conveyor belting and has become a style of belt being used through out the world. This group of products combines a wide array of belt types with specialty fabrications of profiles designed to convey products in many different methods.  Several types are available in widths up to 118" (no longitudinal splice required). It permits the use of low energy drives and small pulley diameters in high speed conveying conditions.  This unique light-weight fabric design offers a low coefficient fabric surface and excellent flexibility.  These style belts are typically coated with PVC or urethane compounds and vary in plies, thickness, colors, compounds and fabric combinations.
